My name is DuPre Bingham and I am so grateful that you are considering Chick-fil-A as a career. I began working at Chick-fil-A when I was 16-years-old. The positivity and enthusiasm of Chick-fil-A Operators and team members was noticeable. And I loved the simplicity of pleasing guests through friendliness, high quality food, quick service, and a clean environment.   

 

My Operator invested in me from the very beginning. He steadily taught me the basics on how to take care of customers, how to be a responsible team member, and how to market the business. I learned that genuine care for people was what our business was all about. We were not really in “the chicken business". We were in “the people business”.  

 

I had no idea that this simple job would one day become my career. I enjoyed a 2-year overseas ministry opportunity and thought it might turn into something long-term. But I soon found a strong pull back to Chick-fil-A. I have found Chick-fil-A to be an excellent platform from which to care for people and our community. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as the owner-operator of two locations in Charlotte, NC with over 200 employees. Growing the business is certainly fun but the most enjoyable aspect of my role is investing in leaders. It is awesome to see  leaders be inspired to grow personally, learn how to run the business, discover their strengths, and find joy in serving others.
